- In order to use Kenesto CAD Add-in you need to have Kenesto drive installed and running, and the documents need to be saved in Kenesto
- In order for Kenesto CAD add-in to work correctly with SOLIDWORKS, it needs to be installed for all Kenesto users in the organization
- Minimum Kenesto Drive version to use the add-in is 3.0.0.11

Our free SolidWorks Add-in features the following:
- Vaulted Folders: files are locked when a user check outs a file and unlocked when the user checks in a file.
- Regular folders: files are locked automatically when a user with edit privileges opens a file.
- File Operations: Calculate Dependencies, Display Dependencies, Where used for files, Revisions, and Rename and Replace part names.
- Users can create new part numbers or new assembly numbers in sequence by checking the box on the Kenesto Drive settings.
